Digital Falak 2.3.1

Digital Falak, also known as DF, is a prayer time application designed to assist the Islamic community in tracking prayer times.

Digital Falak's Vision:

1. Encouraging the Islamic community to use the Islamic calendar (Hijri calendar) alongside the Gregorian calendar. With DF, users can stay informed about the ongoing Hijri calendar.
2. Introducing and promoting the concept of Waktu Istiwak (WIS) as a primary reference for determining prayer times, without neglecting local time standards.
3. Providing accurate prayer times to reduce errors caused by lack of knowledge.
4. Correcting misconceptions about the 30-minute time difference between Istiwak time and local time.
5. Correcting misconceptions about Istiwak time starting at midnight like local time.

Digital Falak's Mission:

1. Designing DF with a familiar wall calendar layout for user-friendliness.
2. Incorporating features related to Islam and nationalism within DF.
3. Alerting users about upcoming lunar and solar eclipses to facilitate correct performance of eclipse prayers according to fiqh guidelines.
4. Providing notifications for WIS and Adhan (call to prayer).
5. Offering options related to astronomy for knowledgeable users to align with their preferred standards, while providing default values for those less familiar with the field.
6. Supplying a Qibla compass for immediate directional needs, not for rectifying existing Qibla errors.
